Installation Instructions

Nerf-Step (Part # C0189CC)

04-06 Chevy/GMC Silverado/Sierra

5/16 x 1” Carriage Bolt 12 Driver Side Bar 1

5/16” Flat Washer 12 Passenger Side Bar 1

5/16” Nut 12

STEP 1: Identify the driver side bar. (The shorter end of the main bar goes towards the front of the vehicle)

STEP 2: Hold the nerf-step up to the pinch weld on the body of the vehicle with the angled flange

below the body.( Note: The angled flange will be at a different degree in relation to the body, this

will re-align at the end of the installation process.) The front tip of the nerf-step should be

approximately ¾” behind the fender/wheel well opening. If you have over sized tires, make sure

to allow just enough clearance room for steering.

STEP 3 Make a mark through the slotted holes on the pinch weld with each bracket. After marking the

holes, drill out each mark with a 3/8” drill bit.

NOTE: Carefully read entire instructions thoroughly before attempting to install this part.

It is recommended to have some additional help while installing these bars.
